What is Marine Ecology?
Marine Ecology is the scientific study of marine-life habitat, populations, and interactions among organisms and the surrounding environment including their abiotic (non-living physical and chemical factors that affect the ability of organisms to survive and reproduce) and biotic factors (living things or the materials that directly or indirectly affect an organism in its environment).
This can be an online only course and can be completed at anytime, anywhere OR this course can include 2 dives.
In the Marine Ecology specialty course, you will learn how ocean organisms interact with each other and their environments. You will be taught how energy flows through communities and the links between different ocean ecosystems.
With your newfound knowledge, you will appreciate the marine life you dive with even more!
